Terms of Service

Welcome to CityFix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CityFix mobile application, web dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use CityFix. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To submit reports, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Submitting Reports
When submitting infrastructure reports, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about the issue
- Submit only photos that you have taken and have the right to share
- Pin the correct location of the issue using GPS
- Not submit duplicate reports for the same issue
- Not use the Service to report emergencies — contact local emergency services instead
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful reports
- Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to access or interact with the Service without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of CityFix. By submitting a report, you grant CityFix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and share the content of your report for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, including sharing reports with relevant city departments for issue resolution.
6. Service Availability
CityFix is currently in development. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or updates.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CityFix and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at davidshittu20@gmail.com.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
